Year one

I set up this blog exactly one year ago at the suggestion of a friend of mine.

We were both using an app that allowed you to post your stories and different things on it but it was heavily censored and frustrating as hell.

So I set up this blog so that I could post my writing free from censorship and issues.

I never thought that anyone would be interested in what I write, but I was proven wrong.

The number of people who have read my work is beyond what I expected.

 

The feedback and support from everyone on here has been overwhelming and unexpected. Because of all of you lovely people my confidence has grown, I’ve made some good friends and had the courage to completely rewrite my novel and (when I have time) will start the process of looking for an agent and publisher.

It has also given me the inspiration to branch out and try different things, various types of writing and different genres.

So the point of this post is basically just to say thank you to you all. Your support has meant a lot to me, and I am grateful.

I am not the same person I was a year ago and part of that is down to the support from all of you.
