I don’t know if many of you check your spam queue regularly but I do.
Mostly out of curiosity but also because there are one or two people on here who’s comments are occasionally put in the spam queue in error.
Normally when I check it there is between 8 and 12 a week.
They are usually misspelled gibberish.
I cleared out the 10 that were in there last night and that was that.
Just now I looked in again and seen this
WHAT THE GOD DAMN HELL IS THAT? 150 BLOODY SPAM COMMENTS IN ONE FECKING NIGHT.
This is completely getting out of hand.

If I knew of a spam folder for WP I had forgotten..
I looked and only had one.
Kinda sad about it really, I was hoping for a giant cache of misplaced, unread comments. Like a lost treasure…oh poo.
Maybe clear your cookies?? Hahaha I dont really know… my advice is notoriously faulty concerning compooters. 😁

I have no idea where where they come from and last night I was mostly on here so god knows what happened.
I don’t think clearing the cookies will help

And trust me judging by the spam I get you aren’t missing anything other than “people” rambling on about noses

Hahahahaha well the little one is sleeping, the wife is sleeping so it’s just me and the cats just now. The only time I get peace and a chance to write so I’m still up but will be going soon 😛

I know how tempting those hours are. “I’ll sleep when Im dead!” Is what I always say. But then morning comes and I would pay an obscene amount of money just to sleep more. Lol

That has been my moto for years and also I’m used to getting only about 4 hours sleep. It’s my average for the last 15 years
But yes I do feel like that every morning

I have been in that situation a few times 😛
Its worse when I have insomnia I went a full week once with only 8 hours sleep. And I was still working 13 hour shifts in a call centre.
I got really punchy and everything got funny

Well, at least the spam blocker did its job correctly. Imagine if it wasn’t able to block half of them lol. Just yesterday, I deleted 8 spam comments that were able to pass through the filter.

8 is about the normal amount but 150 was insane. Yeah thank god it did get them

I would have ignored the 8 spams if the filter did what it’s supposed to do. Those spams weren’t blocked and I had to delete them one at a time as they appear…
Also, I just checked my spam folder now and it has 136 entries even only after cleaning it yesterday. It seems that spammers are on a roll these days.
