Hey folks, how have you all been?
I am back from a sort of unintended break, I posted what my year has been like so far in 2018 and its been pretty shity year so far.
But in an update to that, I can report that I have two interviews next week, and those are promising, one a job that I don’t really want but I know that I can walk right into it, and another where I would be getting a more challenging role with better money. So guess which one I want to get?
On the bright side if I don’t get either of them my wife now has (after one week of being unemployed) gotten a job. Her old boss called her, basically begged her to come back and offered a massive pay bump. Which will be more than enough for us to live on. Woo and indeed hoo.
Now some of you may have noticed that I have had a redesign of my blog.
I am sad to say that I felt it was time for a change and that Scottish Legend’s Blog is now dead. (I will be changing the URL soon, when I can think of a good one, fear not I will announce what it shall be before I change it)
So, with that announcement over, can I just say Welcome to my World!
The content of my blog won’t change, it will still have my rants, poems, stories (when I write them again, still trying to get over writers’ block) and lots of random thoughts.
One thing I want to do is get to know more people on here, I’d love to get feedback from as many people as I can, suggestions for things to write. If I have times I’m going to run another writing event as I did for last year in spring, I hope you will all take part, I just need to find the time and the idea of the theme.
Also if I can ask for what you think of my new layout and the redesign of my blog, it would be appreciated.
And on that note, I’m going to head off to bed.

and here I thought you were just jealous of my wonderful new blog that I had to create because I blew up the other one….ya know, copy catting is the greatest compliment or some such nonsense? yea…well just burst my bubble why don’t ya? it’s okay. yer forgiven as you have indeed been under great pressure to get a real job instead of a bloggery one that doesn’t pay anything. I forgot where I was going with this……key jeopardy music………….oh yea! The blog! Righto…..it looks nice. very professional. are you sure it is yours hun?

Woot woot for the two interviews, and the Mrs’ return to work with benefits (just not “that” kind :P)… I really hope things will continue to improve as days and weeks pass by….
I really like the new design, and the black & white look. It will flatter your colorful writing 🙂 xx

I’m not one for artistic critique – the layout works for me. I’m more interested in reading your words.
Love the song choice – so appropriate. Turn and face yourself … 🙂 I’m a big fan of thoughtful music, especially Bowie.
