Day out to the Lego Store

Today was fun, as we had nothing today decided to jump in the car and go through to Glasgow for a day out.

There were two reasons that we decided to go to Glasgow.

Reason One: Hadn’t taken the little one through there yet

Reason Two: I wanted to go to the Lego Store.

It was so cool, but I have come to the awful realisation that I shall never be allowed to go there on my own. I would buy too much stuff with money that I don’t have. Lego is so bloody expensive.

I took some pictures of the stuff I want to buy.

This costs £650, dear god I can’t afford that unless I don’t want to pay rent or bills for a month and be homeless. I want it
Worth it.

In the end, I just bought these awesome keyringsdsc_09992673858997794601848.jpg

I can’t figure out how to work “congregate” into this post, ah well I’ll just cheat.

https://polldaddy.com/js/rating/rating.jsFirst, I’d love to visit Glasgow. Maybe someday. Second, the Millenium Falcon looks so awesome. My kids don’t necessarily HAVE to go to college, right??
My most treasured Lego set is the Lego Ideas Doctor Who set. I got to keep 12 (my Doctor), my daughter stole 11 (she likes his “fancy hair”) and Clara and my son kept the weeping angels and Daleks. I plan to steal it all back when they aren’t looking. 😉
I’m glad I’m not the only one that chokes on the prices. And…nice cheat. It never occurred to me to cheat! I’m so doing that the next time I’m stumped with the word of the day.

The price is ridiculous for it. But I really want it. The one I want the most is the Ghostbusters Firehouse, it is awesome but again I can’t afford it £260 it is just so cool. And I’m loving your taste with the Doctor who I’d love a lego TARDIS or a real one for that matter

Have you tried Lego Dimensions? There’s something for everyone, so I can justify purchasing the Doctor Who level pack because its for the kids. Yeah. Definitely for the kids. 😉
So if you can’t get your hands on the larger Tardis, maybe you can get a hold of the Dimensions level pack with the mini Tardis, 12
(now I have two Doctors!!) and K-9. There’s another pack with a Cyberman and Dalek. Yay! Again…for the kids.

I thought about getting Lego Dimensions but it has been discontinued so getting it won’t be the easiest.

I’m starting to get the impression here that you are a doctor who fan? I may be wrong

US Amazon has a lot of the Lego packs available (not sure about the UK side). Even though it’s discontinued, they are still fun to have and when they are on sale, even better!
I don’t actually consider myself a Whovian. Weird, I know. I’ve been a fan of Sherlock Holmes a lot longer than the Sherlock of time and space.

Unfortunately for my son and I there is only 1 Lego store in Australia and its in another State – Fortunately for my Wallet however. We did have the opportunity to go to an exhibit about 12 months ago displaying some massive Lego creations, that will have to do for now – also the cheaper option
